Terms and Conditions
Effective January 1, 2026
Signature Fargo Concrete Company, fargoconcretecompany.com, support@fargoconcretecompany.com
Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Signature Fargo Concrete Company website, starting from our home page, and any estimate or work you ask us for through it. By using the site or booking work with us, you agree to them, so please read them before you call or send the form.
If you sign a written contract with us for a specific job, that contract controls wherever it differs from these terms, because it's written for your house and your project.
What we do
We're a concrete contractor in Fargo, ND, and we do residential and commercial concrete work such as driveways, patios, sidewalks, garage floors, steps, foundations and related flatwork in Fargo and the cities around it. You can read more about our crew on our About page.
What's on this site is general information about the trade, like typical curing times and what usually causes cracking or settling. Your job may differ once we see the ground, the drainage and the old slab, so treat the site as a starting point and not as advice for your specific project.
Estimates and pricing
We give free estimates at your property, with no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, including the size of the area, the thickness of the slab, the condition of the subgrade, which is the soil the slab sits on, any tear-out of old concrete, and the finish you choose.
Some things only show up once the job is open, like soft or wet soil, buried debris or old concrete thicker than expected. If that happens, we'll stop and talk with you about the change and the cost before we do the extra work.
An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material and labor prices may have changed, so we may need to update it.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
We schedule pours around the weather because concrete placed in heavy rain, freezing temperatures or extreme heat can end up weak or dusty on top. If conditions aren't right, we'll move your date and tell you why, and that isn't a breach of our agreement with you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (701) 608-1202 as soon as you can. If we've already ordered materials, dug out the area or booked the concrete truck, you may owe for those costs and for work already done, as your written agreement sets out.
You're responsible for giving us access to the work area and for keeping people, pets and vehicles off new concrete during curing, which is the waiting period while the slab gains strength. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk on it and when it's safe to drive on it.
Payment
Your written agreement sets any deposit, the payment schedule and the accepted payment methods for your job. Final payment is due when the work is complete as described in that agreement, unless it says otherwise.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's settled, and we may use the remedies North Dakota law allows, including a lien on the property for unpaid work and materials.
Warranty and what it doesn't cover
We stand behind our work, and any written warranty for your job will be in your contract, including what it covers and for how long. Apart from that written warranty and what the law requires, we don't make other promises about the work, express or implied.
Concrete is a natural material, and small hairline cracks, slight color differences and minor surface variation are normal. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves that give the slab a place to crack in a straight line instead of at random, but they guide cracking rather than stopping it.
Our work doesn't cover damage from things outside our control, such as frost heave, soil movement, roots, poor drainage on your property that you've decided not to fix, deicing salts, heavy vehicles the slab wasn't built for, or use of the slab before curing is done.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses connected to this website or our work, such as lost time, lost income or loss of use. Where we are liable, our total responsibility for a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We're licensed and fully insured. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow a business to limit.
If we disagree
If something isn't right, call us first, because most problems get settled quickly when we come out and look at the work together. If we can't work it out that way, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court.
If a dispute still isn't resolved, it will be handled in the state courts serving Cass County, North Dakota, unless your written contract or the law says otherwise.
Which state's law applies
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota. If you're in Minnesota or another state and a law there gives you rights that can't be waived, those rights still apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes don't affect a written contract we've already signed with you.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Questions about these terms
If you have a question about these terms or about an estimate, call us at (701) 608-1202 or use the form on our contact page. We respond within 1 business day.
